My name is Rachel Danczak, I started The Fuzzy Rug Cleaning Company in Vernon BC in 2025. A Wellness-focused cleaning company.
I am passionate about all parts of Wellness: Physical, Mental, Emotional,
Environmental, Social, Spiritual.
I started The Fuzzy Rug because I believe one of the greatest ways to help someone- is to keep a nice home. Home falls into environmental wellness, but HOME can HOST ALL of the other parts of wellness.
My mission is to help create spaces that infuse peace, comfort, love, joy, laughter, memories, connection, colour, and more into one’s life.
We believe one of the simplest & most timeless ways to help someone & their well being is to have a clean space
My home, my business, and the livelihood this work provides all exist on the traditional, unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan Nation. The Syilx people are the original stewards of this beautiful land—caring for it, protecting it, and living in relationship with it.
Connection to land is as essential to wellness as family and community. I hold high gratitude and value for the nature, resources, and beauty that surround me and support my life and work. I commit to living and working with respect, mindfulness, and appreciation for the Syilx Okanagan territory, and I hope to inspire others to do the same.
